This festive season, Darling Harbour is the place to be! Sydney's most colourful and exciting summer event will be a hive of activity with The Harbour Village, pedal boats, Pixar Putt mini golf, weekend fireworks, picture-perfect moments, and guaranteed holiday cheer.

The giant Christmas bauble will return to the Convention Centre Forecourt for your family happy snaps and there are over 150 places to eat, drink and be merry on your Darling Harbour Yuletide adventure.

The Harbour Village

A dedicated hub of children's entertainment from sing-alongs with The Beanies to Aussie storytime to creative craft workshops, The Harbour Village will sweep your little elves up in the spirit of the season with four weekends of festive fun.

Let your little one's creativity sparkle as they write letters to Santa, get crafty at Santa's workshop or have a dance-off with Santa’s DJ helpers. There might even be a surprise visit from the man in the red suit himself.

So gather your little ones and head to The Harbour Village for a month of merriment!

Pedal Boats

See Darling Harbour decked out with festive lights and decorations from the most unique vantage point - the water! Take your family on a Christmas-inspired aquatic adventure this summer and hire a pedal boat for the most serene way to take in the beauty of the harbour city.

You can hire a pedal boat for up to two adults and two children. The cost per ride is $45 for 30 minutes and you can book at the ticket booth located in Cockle Bay Wharf.

Pixar Putt

Get the whole family together for a day out in the sunshine as Pixar Putt returns to Darling Harbour this summer. Get ready to kick some serious putt at Australia’s much loved open-air mini-golf challenge, made up of a series of fun interactive themed holes.

The pop-up phenomenon is inspired by some of Pixar’s most loved films including Toy Story, Cars, The Incredibles, Coco, Monsters Inc., Onward, Luca, Finding Nemo, Up, Ratatouille, A Bug’s Life, Wall-E, Inside Out, Soul, Turning Red and Lightyear.

Putt your way around 9 or 18 holes at Pier Street Underpass for a limited time from Friday 15 December 2023 until Sunday 4 February 2024.

Christmas Fireworks

The famous Darling Harbour weekend fireworks will light up the night at 9 pm on Fridays and Saturdays from 2nd to 23rd December. Enthral your kids and the night with a bang at the lively Cockle Bay precinct as you watch the sky above the harbour light up with a spectacular pyrotechnic display.

Every Saturday night, a live DJ will play energising beats right on the harbour and Santa’s Dance Crew will take centre stage busting their moves and spreading Christmas cheer!
