With the busy holiday season just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to think about planning your Christmas events and unique celebrations.

The City of Sydney will be bringing the festive vibes, starting with the Sydney Christmas tree lighting, sleigh ride through the city and opening weekend on Thursday 27 November.

During the season, experience the delight of the southern hemisphere’s tallest Christmas tree in Martin Place, Christmas choirs, roving entertainment and dazzling lighting projections and decorations throughout the city.

Dust off your reindeer ears and put on your dancing shoes for a series of free, family-friendly concerts in Pyrmont, Rosebery, Glebe, Rushcutters Bay and Alexandria. Plus, traffic on Crown Street will be closed for a lively day-to-night street fair in Surry Hills on Saturday 13 December.
