2. The Santa Studio

Another excellent option for an intimate family portrait experience away from the hustle and bustle of traditional Santa photos, The Santa Studio offers private, pre-booked photography sessions in a one-of-a-kind, interior designer-built and styled Christmas studio in Caringbah. There is a range of sessions available to suit your family, starting at $85 for a 5-minute Single Session (perfect for families with school aged children!), a 10-minute Double Session, or a 15-minute Triple Session. All sessions are pet-friendly!

At Myer's festive Santaland, Santa is waiting for you and the family, and he's brought a slice of the North Pole with him! 

Book your session at Sydney's Myer on George Street and get ready to enter a whimsical wonderland. Before you get your Santa selfie on, kids can climb aboard the Santaland Express and get transported all the way to the wintry North Pole. Next, it's time for your close-up with Mr Claus himself. For family Santa photos in Sydney, book a standard photo session, or you can opt for Myer's Sensory Santa sessions, thoughtfully designed for families seeking gentle lighting, minimal music, and a more calming experience. If it's your little one's first Santa selfie, book a Baby's First Christmas session and watch the magic happen. 5. David Jones

Santa is back at Sydney's iconic David Jones on Elizabeth Street, ready to smile along with families (and pooches) in a beautifully themed Christmas studio. 

Families can step into the magic for a memorable photo experience, complete with twinkling decor and plenty of holiday spirit. Your four-legged friends are once again invited to share in the fun with Santa Pet Photography Sessions, and there are Sensitive Santa sessions available for those with sensory-friendly needs.

6. The Grounds of Alexandria

Santa photos at The Grounds are iconic and for good reason! Every year, The Grounds of Alexandria is taken over by an enchanted Christmas experience, and this year, the Yuletide festivities hail all the way from Scotland!

The theme for Santa photos 2025 ties in with The Grounds Tartan Christmas installation, and Santa will be ready and waiting at The Grounds Coffee Factory to snap happy selfies with the whole family in his dapper tartan suit. This festive pop-up brings a dash of old-world charm and plenty of Christmas cheer, creating the perfect backdrop for your annual family photo. 

Each session lasts five minutes, so families can soak up the magic and get the perfect shot. Sessions will sell out quickly, so we recommend booking ahead. 7. Santa at the Summit

Get ready to say you "Jingled all the way to the summit" when you book your own private Santa session on the Sydney Harbour Bridge!

Possibly one of the most memorable Santa photos in Sydney for 2025, Santa at the Summit combines the magic of Christmas with the renowned views of Sydney Harbour, making it a photo op like no other. Santa will be visiting the Sydney Harbour Bridge every Sunday morning during the festive season, to greet climbers 134 metres above sea level with the iconic Sydney Opera House as your backdrop.
