As part of Willoughby City Council’s Chatswood Culture Bites 2024, the Zenith Theatre and Convention Centre in Chatswood comes alive on Thursday 21 November with two productions of the children’s show Whalebone.

Experience the Magic of Whalebone in Chatswood

Set in the mysterious ‘Depository’, Whalebone tells the story of a solitary worker who races against time to safeguard human stories, memories and emotions in a world where AI and machines are going rogue and making more and more decisions for us.

Performed by the imaginative mind of clown, tinkerer, inventor and comedian, Jens Altheimer, Whalebone invites audiences to ponder the role of technology in our lives, sparking conversations about what really defines us as humans. Featuring dazzling video and computer animations, the show is filled with eccentric contraptions, strange machinery and clunky inventions.
