See 50,000 Vibrating, Multicoloured Balls At Art Gallery NSW

This mesmerising installation at Art Gallery NSW provides an extraordinary optical effect, as more than 50,000 suspended balls gently vibrate within a breeze created by large fans within the gallery space.

The Australian artist, Nike Savvas, drew inspiration from the stunning colours of the Australian landspace when creating this work, as she recalled the distinctive tones of central Australia while living in overcast, colourless London. She recalled the red earth, shimmering haze from the head, and blazing blue skies of the outback to inspire the colour groupings in this work, which transforms the gallery exhibition space into a horizon line of coloured particles

A spectacle for the whole family, this enchanting installation will provoke wonderment in kids (and adults!) of all ages.
