Woollahra Sailing Club teaches sailing and watersports to kids, teens and adults, as well as hosting hands-on school holiday programs and unique birthday parties.

While mastering an amazing new skill, learning the sport of sailing fosters a slew of benefits like independence, responsibility, problem-solving, teamwork, mathematical skills and respect for nature.

Their Tackers program for kids aged 7 years + runs weekly during school terms. This Australian Sailing program is a super-fun, game-filled curriculum that covers the fundamentals skills of sailing. Budding sailors can then progress through Tackers to the Green Fleet and onto Academy-level training.

Teens programs are also available after school and on weekends, with social sailing expeditions on various vessels that include an introduction to powerboating, kayaking, SUPs, windsurfing and more.

And it’s never too late for grown-ups to catch the wind! Adult lessons can be booked seven days a week, and private and group sessions are available. You'll soon be gliding over Sydney’s sparkling waters in no time.

Woollahra Sailing Club School Holidays Camps

During the school holidays, Woollahra Sailing Club transforms into a water wonderland. Mini mariners can experience sailing and watersports camps in spectacular surroundings with some of the harbour's best views and engaging aquatic activities to keep them active and entertained.

All programs are led by certified Australian Sailing instructors and all safety equipment is provided by the Club. 

The Woollahra Sailing Club School Holidays Camps are open to all young sailing enthusiasts including complete beginners. It's an amazing opportunity to make new friends, enjoy the outdoors and have fun on the water. One-day or four-day sailing programs and Teen programs are all on offer and include sailing, paddling, SUP, power boating, beach adventures, games and plenty more. 

The Rose Bay Adventure Camp for 6 - 12-year-olds is a fun, social experience with action-packed days that dive into different water sports, activities, sailing and games. No experience is needed, and you can book for one day or book for the week - no two days are the same!

These four-day Junior Holiday Camps for 6-12-year-olds are designed for independent sailors to improve their sailing skills or anyone just starting on their sailing journey, with an introductory to fun racing!

Teens holiday programs guarantee a fun-filled four-day program for older kids aged 12 - 17 years. With a variety of water sports, sailing and activities each day, every day is different, so it's ideal for keeping teens engaged and active.

Water Sports and Sailing Birthday Parties

For a celebration with a difference, make a splash with a unique Woollahra Sailing Club birthday party! 

Party packages are tailored to suit adventurous kids 6+ or thrill-seeking teens, with the option to include two or more activities that will have everyone buzzing with excitement:
