Australia❜s Largest Indoor Sporting Venue is Coming to Sydney

And now, they're heading down under! Coming soon to the southern hemisphere as the very first of its kind, Woodward Sydney promises to be the ultimate state-of-the-art indoor sports action facility.

A Multi-Level Action Sports Centre is Opening in Sydney

To say that Woodward Sydney is bursting with action and activities across many levels (both physical and metaphorical!) is the ultimate understatement.

The facility will offer sports programming for all ages and abilities across BMX, skateboarding, scooter, skiing, snowboarding, rock climbing, bouldering, aerial awareness, and fitness training. So whether you're looking to hone your craft or try something new, Woodward Sydney is the premier destination to do so.

Woodward Sydney's World-class Facilities

At Woodward Sydney, the facilities will be second to none.

They will include mini and mega ramps, foam pits, a spring floor, a gym, trampolines, a skate park, a pump track, plus, some of the tallest climbing and bouldering walls in the whole of Australia inspired by mega walls in the US.

The New South Wales Government is putting $1.8 million towards the centre via a grant from the Greater Sydney Sports Facility Fund, to increase opportunities for Sydneysiders to get active and support athletes at the same time.

Minister for Sport Alister Henskens says: "The NSW Government recognises the critical role sports infrastructure plays in keeping communities healthy and active. Woodward Sydney will provide an indoor action sports facility to improve participation and pathway opportunities for emerging and elite athletes."

Whether it's individual classes, programs across multiple weeks, birthday parties, competitions, or events, Woodward Sydney will have all your action sports needs covered. There will also be casual-access passes for people who simply want to have a go, as well as plenty of spectator space and an onsite cafe and bar, so you can sit back and relax after working up a sweat on the slopes.

Woodward Sydney Location & Opening Date

The all-new Woodward Sydney is opening in 2024 at Castle Towers Shopping Centre, 22 Showground Road, Castle Hill.
