1. Sydney Indoor Climbing Gym

Sydney Indoor Climbing Gym has the biggest venues for rock climbing in Sydney with centres in Villawood and St Peters. They have climbing routes of all grades starting from very easy to super challenging and caves that kids will love for a different experience. They host Youth Climbing programs, School Holidays Rockcamp and Kids Club, plus it makes an awesome kids birthday party too. The Villawood location is Western Sydney’s biggest climbing gym, with 2200m2 of climbing walls and the main climbing area over 15 metres high. St Peters boasts 3700m2 of climbing walls and bouldering walls with an average wall height of 14m making it the biggest climbing gym in the Southern Hemisphere. Yikes!
2. Umbrella Nine Co

Umbrella Nine is an indoor rock climbing centre on the Northern Beaches, created specifically to encourage kids and their families to get active in the climbing scene. The twist? They specialise in bouldering - climbing without the ropes - with lower walls surrounded by soft padded mats for maximum safety. With a dedicated, purpose-built climbing and bouldering gym, kids aged 5 - 14 can challenge themselves to find their inner monkey. It is a great place to hang out in the holidays and an amazing party venue.
3. Climb Oz Climbing Centre

It's not too late to start your Olympic training! Climb Oz in Blacktown has an outdoor climbing wall and offers bouldering, top-rope climbing, lead sport climbing, and self belaying. They suit all levels, so beginners, don’t be shy. No bookings required, just drop in!
4. The Edge Rockclimbing Centre

The Edge has over 120 climbing walls to suit five-85 years olds, including challenge courses and towers to make things that little bit more exciting. Children under 12 can climb for just $11. Their new school holiday programs include climbing instruction, training, activities and supervision so little chimpanzees will learn strength, confidence and flexibility.
5. Climb Fit

With a strong focus on kids' rock climbing, Climb Fit is both an indoor climbing centre and gym if parents want to work out too! They accept kids as young as 4 and boast the best activity to keep kids fit on a rainy day (rather than stuck in front of a screen!). There are also school holiday kids camps, in case this becomes their new favourite hobby. There's a new venue down south in Kirrawee with kids climbing, bouldering and birthday party packages.
