URGENT: Popular Pasta Sauce Recalled From Woolworths Over Metal Fragments

A family-favourite pasta sauce has had a nationwide recall over fears of the potential presence of metal and plastic fragments inside.

Food Standards Australia put out the urgent recall of Leggo’s Fresh Napoli Sauce with Tomato, Garlic, Basil & Oregano on Wednesday August 11.

The sauce, created by Patties Food Pty Ltd, is sold at Woolworths stores across Australia. 

And the batch in question has a use by date of October 2, 2021

Consumers have been warned not to consume the recalled sauce, as it may cause injury or illness.

“Consumers should not eat this product and should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.”
