Running throughout June, this vibrant celebration honours the LGBTQIA+ community with the theme “Love, Respect, Empower.” From parades and performances to community picnics and creative workshops, Pride Month is all about visibility, inclusivity and connection.

Pride Picnic – Ted Mack Civic Park, North Sydney
Kick off Sydney Pride Month with a joyful afternoon at the Pride Picnic. Enjoy live music, drag performances, face painting, children’s activities, and delicious offerings from food trucks.
Don’t miss the rainbow dog competition—dress your pups in their most fabulous Pride-themed outfits! As the sun sets, experience a tribute to local queer history with projections from the Mapping Queer North Sydney project illuminating Stanton Library.

Family Zone @ Rainbow Precinct – East Sydney Community Centre
The Family Zone at East Sydney Community Centre is back, offering a day filled with drag queen storytime, face painting, crafting activities, and goodie bags. Parents can unwind with a complimentary 15-minute massage while kids engage in the fun. It’s a rainbow-filled day out for families and carers alike.

Come along for a storytime featuring a special appearance from online star, the one and only Barbara Please! There’ll be stories, songs, dancing, and plenty of chances to get your groove on—so don’t forget to dress up in your brightest rainbow gear.

Pride Fest 2025 – Qtopia Sydney
Pride Fest returns with over 150 events showcasing queer creativity and culture.
