Sydney Hotel Pools You Can Get Into Without A Room Booking

  • Parents Only

I can’t think of a better way to spend a day than lounging by an elegant hotel pool, icy cold cocktail in hand. Don’t be fooled- this luxurious experience isn’t isolated to expensive holidays and weekend getaways. Get access to a gorgeous Sydney hotel as the weather warms up, and make use of their delightful amenities, minus the pricey room bookings.

ivy Pool Club, Sydney CBD

Cocktails, private cabanas, delicious Italian food and nothing but open blue sky above you. Get free access to the stylish Pool Club in one of Sydney’s most iconic party spots from Monday - Friday. On Saturdays, the pool becomes the focal point of Pacha Sydney and on Sundays, the highlight of Marco Polo. Oversized sunglasses are a must. Pool Club is an 18+ venue.

Please note: Pool Club is temporarily closed.

Shangri-La, Sydney CBD

Access to the lush Shangri-La Health Club includes the use of the indoor swimming pool and sundeck as well as the gym and jacuzzi. You can also order from the lunch and beverage menu so there is no need to leave in a hurry! Casual rates start from $35 for adults and $25 for kids. The club is operating at a smaller capacity so reservations are required. Forget a touch of luxury - this hotel offers a total lathering!

Sheraton Grand Sydney, Hyde Park

Become a member of the On The Park Rejuvenation Day Spa and enjoy a rooftop pool and jacuzzi overlooking Hyde Park and the city, as well as a gym, sauna, steam room and terrace with plenty of deck chairs to lounge on. Off-peak (9am-5pm) membership for 1 month costs $90 per person, not too bad for a totally luxe bit of ‘me’ time.

Please note: Sheraton Grand Sydney pool facilities are currently not open to the public.

The Langham, Millers Point

Quite simply, The Langham is on another level! Their world-class day spa spells a day of pampering, unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before. The stunning 20-metre indoor heated swimming pool, is a sight for sore eyes: beach murals, stone columns, turquoise water, poolside lounges and a ceiling painted to resemble the night sky. Heaven! A casual visit will cost you $55 which covers the pool, jacuzzi and gym, however, the steam room is currently unavailable. If you book in for a treatment (an investment if you ask us), you get complimentary use of all the facilities.
