NRMA Murramarang Beachfront Holiday Resort Gets $1 Million Makeover
- All Ages
If you know your holiday parks, you’ll know that NRMA’s Murramarang Beachfront Holiday Park has all the trappings of a truly beautiful getaway spot. It boasts a pristine coastal environment, access to beautiful local beaches and is a gateway to the stunning South Coast of NSW. Need we go on?
Unfortunately, Murramarang was greatly impacted by the bushfires in early 2020 and then pandemic-related travel restrictions—so it’s safe to say it’s been a tough two years for the region. But, they’ve made lemonade out of a whole lot of lemons and have invested in a makeover to the tune of a whopping one million dollars for NRMA Murramarang Beachfront Holiday Park’s facilities, guest villas, landscaping and more. Here’s what you need to know.
A Million Dollar Makeover
Bringing a beach-house theme to the park, the guest villas and cabins have been updated with fresh paint, new furnishings and a relaxing, welcoming vibe.
The new bistro, bar and takeaway will be showcasing the best of local produce—with the likes of the local oyster farm, the local butcher and other small businesses taking centre stage at the newly refurbished park. And considering what the locals have endured—we reckon everyone will enjoy dining at the park knowing that it’s the resilient locals who are directly benefiting.
In welcome news for families, e-mountain bikes are now on offer at the park and the Kids Club has been refreshed and is ready and raring for action. There are also lots of new free hosted events taking place at the park; like sausage sizzles, barbecues, pancake breakfasts and a whole lot of live music—all of which are perfect for meeting new friends before a full day of adventuring nearby!
Location Location Location
While the updates and makeover are huge drawcards to NRMA Murramarang Beachfront Holiday Resort, the region also well and truly speaks for itself. The area is bursting with unspoiled beaches, bushland, great walking tracks and a whole lot of wildlife. We’re talking dolphins and whales, birds, echidnas and more.
In terms of activities, the area has it all. Plenty of surfing and fishing opportunities, bushwalking, cycling and lots of water-based pursuits like stand up paddleboarding. See you there this summer, families!
