Another week another new LEGO® Certified Store for Sydney!
It's clear that we Sydney folks are big fans of LEGO® - it's only been a few months since the last LEGO® Certified Store opened at Macquarie Park Shopping Centre and now, Sydney is about to be graced with yet another mecca for LEGO® fans—and it's set to be the biggest in the world. Yep, you read that right!
The World's Largest LEGO® Certified Store is Opening in Sydney
We're thrilled to share the news that a brand-new LEGO® Certified Store is coming to Sydney Arcade, overlooking Pitt St Mall at the heart of the city in the coming months. The CBD Store is set to be the biggest in the world.
The immersive new store will feature creative play experiences, with playful nods to Australian culture, that are sure to create lasting memories for every Aussie or visitor from around the world.
Troy Taylor, Vice President and General Manager, of LEGO® Australia and New Zealand, says " The landmark store will include exclusive large-format brick-built features that draw inspiration from local architecture, with the design based on ‘Stories of Australia’, bringing a combination of Sydney and Australian culture to life in LEGO® brick form.
As with all other LEGO® stores in Sydney, the LEGO® Certified Store at Sydney Arcade will be state-of-the-art with Pick-a-Brick walls, mini figurine stations, and stock the latest and greatest LEGO® collections. Basically, it will be heaven for LEGO® fans and fanatics!
Plus, there's more:
- An interactive Storytelling Table designed for adult fans that bring to life the stories behind the sets available in the store. It shows early product designs and prototypes, lifts the lid on the development process, and allows fans to virtually ‘meet’ the LEGO® designers.
- The Personalisation Studio which allows children, parents, and grown-up fans to demonstrate their creativity via fun, innovative hands-on experiences.
- A wide range of LEGO® sets, with fun and engaging communication focused on passion points to help shoppers navigate across portfolios.
- Hands-on Play Opportunities: including a LEGO® play wall and free LEGO® build challenges, and in-store events every month
- Brick Specialists: to help you find the perfect LEGO® set!
Richard Facioni, Executive Chairman, of Alquemie Group, said the new store would capitalise on the enduring appeal of the LEGO brand and bring a world-class retail concept to Australia.
