Katoomba Falls Reserve Night Walk
The Katoomba Falls Night Walk puts a unique spotlight on bushwalking in the Blue Mountains - literally! The Night-Lit walk is the first of its kind in NSW and comprises 390 energy-efficient LED lights used to illuminate the natural landscape while a further 13 spotlights make navigating the 1.3-kilometre track manageable.
The Katoomba Falls Reserve Night Walk is heralded as a unique night-time viewing experience for adventurous families, who'll have the opportunity to see some of the Blue Mountains most outstanding natural highlights in a completely different light. The Katoomba Falls Night Walk takes in stunning natural landscapes such as Orphan Rock, Witches Leap, Katoomba Falls, Katoomba Cascades, and even the glamorous Three Sisters from certain vantage points.
Getting to the Katoomba Falls Reserve Night Walk
Access to the Katoomba Falls Reserve Night Walk is next to the start of the Prince Henry Cliff Walk at Echo Point. The lights are turned on at 5 pm every evening and will be turned off at 11 pm.
The 1.3-kilometre loop walk is manageable for all ages, but remember to bring a flashlight to grant yourself a bit more light.
Tip: Look up - the stars are amazing on a clear night!
