Get A Taste of Europe In The Hunter Valley On A Limited Edition Big Red Bus Tour

  • Parents Only

With cross-continent travel off the table, we need to find other ways to satisfy that European wanderlust. Thankfully, our very wine country offers one such experience, and you won’t have to spend an entire day on a plane to get there.

The Hunter Valley, known for its lush rolling hills, expensive vineyards and beckoning cellar doors, is less than three hours away from Sydney, but another world awaits!

Travel booking platform Klook is launching a limited edition ‘Taste of Europe’ winery tour aboard a vintage double-decker red London bus - the only one of its kind in Australia -  with Hunter Valley experts, Two Fat Blokes, at the helm. Who needs Bordeaux!

“Taste of Europe” Food & Wine Tour

Discover European flavours hidden in the Hunter at five award-winning venues, starting with a French-inspired champagne breakfast at Peterson House, overlooking the stunning vines.

Then experience the ultimate union at Glandore Estate Wines, the 2020 Cellar Door of the Year, where handcrafted chocolates from Adora offer a sweet twist on wine pairing.

“Taste of Europe” Food & Wine Tour

A delicious cheese and wine tasting platter followed by a leisurely Italian-style alfresco shared lunch at Two Fat Blokes will fuel you up for your next stop at Iron Gate Estate, where an on-site guitarist will perform a Spanish serenade to compliment the Mediterranean surrounds.

Finally, drop into IronBark Hill Brewhouse and taste their unique varieties including hazelnut, watermelon and black forest.

The 8-hour Hunter Valley Food & Wine Tour is an all-inclusive indulgent day out available on Saturday 24th October and Saturday 28th November. Cost is $199 per person and there is a maximum of 10 people per tour.

Book your Taste of Europe Winery Tour for an unforgettable Hunter Valley adventure!
