Fortress Sydney is Coming to Chippendale in April

Exciting news, gamers and esports fans! Sydney is about to level up with the arrival of Fortress Sydney—a brand new multi-level gaming centre located in Chippendale's Central Park Mall. Starting from April 8th, you can immerse yourself in all kinds of gaming experiences, from computer, video, console, and tabletop games.

Off the back of the success of Fortress Melbourne, Fortress Sydney is set to be even bigger with a whopping capacity of 1000 people. Here are the deets. 

Fortress Sydney is Set to Open in April

Fortress Sydney is ready to become your new go-to spot for gaming, any day of the week. Whether you prefer PC or console gaming, or even old-school arcade games, you'll find something to love in this sprawling venue. And, for an extra dose of magic, there's even a fantasy-themed tavern to make you feel like you've stepped into a gaming wonderland!

Something for Every Gamer

On Fridays and Saturdays, the venue will be hosting late-night gaming sessions, so you can keep playing until the wee hours of the morning. And on Sundays, get your fill of adventure and fantasy with Dungeons and Flagons, a self-contained D&D session led by a skilled Dungeon Master, with a drink, stationery, and character sheet all included. Monday nights on-site will be all about trivia, while Wednesdays will focus on board games, letting patrons work their way through the venue's hefty board game library.

Fortress Sydney has something for everyone, whether you're a fan of Super Smash Bros or classic games like Uno, you won't be left out. The venue caters to casual gamers, competitive esports players, families, and after-work crowds. So gather your friends and head on down for a weekend of gaming fun!

Your Food and Drink Needs Covered 

The Sydney iteration of Fortress will include The Tavern—a bustling fantasy-themed restaurant and bar, where gamers can catch up between candle-lit chandeliers and over a hearty spread. 

The menu is brimming with housemade pub meals, a host of hot and hearty snacks, plus a delicious selection of drinks that will be delivered straight to your table or booth via digital ordering (or old school at the bar)! Alternatively, the futuristic Sports Bar will be the perfect place to decompress. 

When and Where will Fortress Sydney Open?
