We've collected the Ooshies, we've watered the seeds (and watched them go mouldy), now it's time for us Mums to collect something of need from the supermarket giants.

Coles' next collectables range is something us parents deserve, and it's in not in miniature size. The supermarket will be offering shoppers free wine glasses if they 'collect' enough points, i.e spend enough money at the check out.

Here's how it works: for every $20 spent at Coles, First Choice or Liquorland, customers will be given one 'glassware credit' on their flybuys card, with 25 of those credits needed to receive two Spiegelau wine glasses or champagne flutes. Hey, at least it's not plastic!

Glass Half Full

If you do the maths, a single Spiegelau glass will require $250 of spending at a Coles store. If you were to simply buy a pack of four glasses this would cost you about $80. Of course, it wouldn't come with bread, milk and bananas... so... three cheers for that?

Glassware credits will start being awarded to customers from October 30, 2019.
