Some of our favourite stores are already on sale, while others are keeping their offers under wraps until the big day, but we've scoped out what we think will be the best online and in-store Boxing Day sales for 2025 and added some tips to make sure you get the best deals.

Hamilton Island's Give Yourself A Break Sale

Where: At the beautiful Hamilton Island, book your stay online
When:  From Friday 26 December 2025 until 4 pm AEDT on 6 January 2026. Travel dates and conditions apply.
What to expect: If your family is craving calm after the end-of-year rush, Hamilton Island’s Give Yourself a Break Sale is the dream Boxing Day escape. Shoes & Sox

Where: All Shoes & Sox stores and online.
When: Offers are happening throughout December all the way until the new school year! 
What to expect: Australia’s No.1 kids’ shoe store, Shoes & Sox, is making back-to-school shopping easier with 20% off school shoes throughout December, running until 8 February 2026. Designed for all-day comfort, support and durability, Shoes & Sox school shoes are built to keep up with busy school days, from the classroom to the playground. Families can shop top brands including Clarks, Harrison and Reebok, both in-store and online, and take advantage of extra Boxing Day savings.

Myer

Where: All Myer stores and online at Myer
When: Myer consistently offers specials throughout the year, and they ramp this up significantly on Boxing Day. The sale is likely to run until late January 2026. Myer currently has a massive clearance sale in the lead-up to Boxing Day, with discounts on over 3,000 items. 
What to expect: Previously, Myer had up to 60% off clothing and footwear, 40% off selected Dyson products, and up to 50% off selected luggage.

David Jones

Where: All David Jones stores and online at David Jones
When: David Jones is already offering big savings in many departments, with the sale expected to expand on Boxing Day. The sale is likely to go on until late January 2026.
What to expect: David Jones currently has plenty of savings on their designer range, plus some epic kids' clothing discounts.

Amazon

Where: Amazon
When: 26 December 2025
What to expect: Amazon always comes to the Boxing Day sales party and promises thousands of discounts storewide via their Boxing Day Sale platform. Electronics, computers, homewares, clothing, video games, toys, books, and much more will all be up for grabs.

Bing Lee

Where: Online and in-store at Bing Lee
When:  From 26 December 2025
What to expect: Bing Lee's iconic Boxing Day Sale is starting a day early this year on 25 December and will slash prices on TVs, laptops, home entertainment, appliances, cooking items, and plenty more.

IKEA

Where: All IKEA stores and online at IKEA
When: The IKEA Boxing Day sales kick off on 26 December 2025 and usually last until mid-January.
What to expect: The Swedish furniture funhouse is hosting a huge end-of-year sale with discounts of up to 50% off hundreds of products. Until then, IKEA is enticing shoppers with 20% off tableware.

Big W

Where: All Big W stores and online at Big W
When:  The Boxing Day sales 2025.
What to expect: Big W has already slashed prices on some big-ticket items in the lead-up to the year's biggest sale, including deals on a huge range of items.

The Iconic

Where: Online at The Iconic
When: The Boxing Day sales 2025
What to expect: The Iconic typically starts the savings with massive silly season savings! 

Bonds

Where: All Bonds stores and online at Bonds
When: The Boxing Day sales 2025
What to expect: TBD for this year, but they usually slash prices on everything in their massive range of men's, women's, kids and baby clothing, undies, and socks for their Boxing Day sale 2025.

Cotton On

Where: All Cotton On stores and online at Cotton On
When: The Boxing Day sales 2025
What to expect: Shop their huge range now, plus get ready for even more discounts once 26 December rolls around.

JB Hi-Fi

Where: Online and in-store at JB Hi-Fi
When: From 26 December 2025
What to expect: JB… you've done it again! Boxing Day at JB Hi-Fi is their biggest sale of the year when they slash the prices on all the tech you know and love, including cameras, smart home tech, drones, mobile phones, headphones, smart TVs, and more.

The Good Guys

Where: All The Good Guys stores and online at The Good Guys
When: Starting on Boxing Day and continuing into the New Year
What to expect: In previous years, The Good Guys Famous Knockout Clearance offered big, never-seen-before discounts of up to 80% on white goods and other electrical goods via their dedicated Boxing Day Sale page. They also offer a wealth of hot tips for getting the best buys.

Tips on Getting the Best Boxing Day Bargains

Getting the most out of Boxing Day sales 2025 is no easy task, so here are a few quick tips to help you get the most out of the sales.

• Plan ahead – Many stores will publish the exact details of their Boxing Day sales ahead of Boxing Day (either on Christmas Day or even sometime before then). Find out when the sale you are looking at starts and finishes. Some online sales will start on Christmas Day – keep an eye out for this and make sure you know exactly which products will be discounted.
   
• Set a budget and stick to it – We all know how easy it is to overspend at a sale. The big red and white sale signs offering huge discounts suck you in, and before you know it, you have spent more than what you originally intended to save.
   
• Keep your eye on the prize – It’s really easy to get distracted in the Boxing Day sales, and if you are attending a sale in-store, be prepared for it to be crowded. Don’t be distracted, and try not to let yourself feel overwhelmed. When the sale commences, be clear in your mind about what you are looking for and head straight for those products.
