Now, to celebrate eight incredible decades of steam-powered fun, Mattel has teamed up with Journey Beyond to launch a nationwide search for Australia's Biggest Thomas & Friends fans.One lucky family will win the ultimate adventure – a once-in-a-lifetime train journey across Australia aboard the legendary Indian Pacific, reimagined with a Thomas & Friends twist.

One lucky family of four will win the ultimate train-lover’s dream, a cross-country adventure aboard the legendary Indian Pacific, travelling from Sydney to Perth in Thomas & Friends-themed train cabins. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime journey that's bursting with the spirit of discovery that’s defined Thomas for generations.

Enter the Competition

To enter, families simply need to upload a short video at Celebrate with Thomas, sharing their story and explaining why Thomas & Friends holds a special place in their hearts.

Entries open Thursday 2 October and close Thursday 23 October 2025.
