Picture the scene: a glorious day followed by a warm evening, a killer sunset over the harbour, a rug, your family and friends eating piping hot fish and chips from Doyles takeaway and watch the ferries come and go – that’s Robertson Park in Watson’s Bay for you.
Robertson Park, Watsons Bay
Robertson Park is a spacious harbourside gem in Watsons Bay, across from Gap Park. Its expansive grassy area, dotted with shade trees, is a favourite spot for both locals and visitors to enjoy picnics, activities, and stunning harbour and ocean views.
A simply gorgeous green space with magnificent city views, and plenty of incredible large shady trees, Robertson Park is equipped with a playground that's great for toddlers, a shallow harbour beach that’s perfect for a stroll or a paddle and an ocean swimming pool around the corner. A visit here will have you coming back again and again.
The park features a charming bandstand rotunda, a piece of history from the 1940s. Families will love the fenced playground, which provides shade from both sails and natural trees. The playground includes rubber soft fall and has an open climbing frame, slide, gyro spinner, and animal rockers, making it a delightful place for kids to play.
