PowerPlay Go-Karting Has Arrived in Sydney and It❜s Unlike Anything Else

Sydney finally has a go-karting experience built by someone who has actually competed at the top level of motorsport. PowerPlay Northmead is Australia's only rally-inspired indoor karting venue, designed from the ground up by World Rally Championship co-driver Glenn Macneall, and it shows in every corner of the track!

What Makes PowerPlay Different

PowerPlay go karts Northmead
Welcome to Australia's only rally-inspired indoor karting venue!

Unlike the petrol-fumed, single-loop tracks of old, PowerPlay runs fully electric karts on a two-storey circuit engineered with ramps, bridges and elevation changes that make every lap feel genuinely different.

The track is purposely wide and slightly slippery, so there's real technique involved, and real satisfaction when you nail a clean corner! Manufactured in Italy, where the safest barrier systems in the sport are produced, the track is built to a standard you'd expect from someone who races for a living.

PowerPlay's Coaching Culture

Track attendants are on hand to take you through your paces.

The coaching culture is central to the whole experience at PowerPlay Northmead. Track attendants are on hand to offer personalised tips before, during and after your session, so whether you're a first-timer finding your lines or a regular trying to shave hundredths off your lap time, there's always something to work on. The shorter track layout means adults clock up to 18 laps of racing per session, and juniors get 15, which is far more track time than a traditional long-circuit session.

Every racer gets a fresh balaclava (yours to keep), and helmet cameras are available to capture your race on film. There's also an on-site arcade area when you need a breather between sessions.
