Now Open: The Picton Botanic Gardens All-Abilities Playspace

Designed as part of the Picton Parklands Master Plan, the new all-abilities playspace is all about bringing the community together while adding a modern twist to an already gorgeous park. According to Mayor of Wollondilly Matt Gould, "the vision for Picton Parklands is to enhance the look and feel of the area, to promote environmental values, and increase recreational opportunities for the many groups and individuals who use the space."
Features of the New Playspace

Nestled in the lush greenery of Picton Botanic Gardens, the playspace is a haven for families. Built by the team at Growth Civil Landscapes the new space includes two playgrounds with a dedicated toddler play area for the littlies and an adventurous play zone for older kids—perfect for burning off that endless energy! The two play spaces are connected by a suspended boardwalk complete with sensory and musical elements to captivate all the senses.

Geared towards kids aged 5-12, the main playground is all about active play with a custom play tower, slides, swings, climbing nets, a rope bridge, and spinners. The toddler zone is aimed at little ones aged 1-5 with loads on offer, including swings, a blackboard, sandstone climbing structures, a nature play zone, a slide, and see-saw elements.

There's also a fully-equipped amenities block so everyone can comfortably enjoy their time here.
Calling All Ninja Warriors

But wait, there's more! The new play space also includes the Picton Ninja Warrior Play Space designed for teens, youth, and young adults. The new Ninja Warrior Circuit is the perfect opportunity to channel your inner ninja warrior as you try to tackle numerous obstacles, including a super-challenging climbing wall!
