Deepwater Pump Track: One of Australia's Largest Pump Tracks Opens
Purpose-built by Canterbury-Bankstown Council in partnership with the NSW Government, the Deepwater Pump Track is designed for bicycles and scooters, featuring smooth rollers, sweeping corners and multiple riding lines that promise endless hours of excitement.
For kids and adults chasing speed, mastering tricks, or simply building confidence on two wheels, this state-of-the-art circuit delivers fun at every turn.
Features of the New Deepwater Pump Track
Stretching more than 200 metres, the adrenaline-ready track caters to riders of all ages and abilities.
Experienced cyclists can test their skills on a challenging run featuring successive jumps, switchbacks and tilted features. Beginners will appreciate a dedicated novice section with tabletop jumps designed to enhance safety while developing technique. Younger riders aren't left out either, with a separate junior track that offers a safe and exciting space to learn and play.
New Playgrounds, Green Spaces & More
Beyond the track itself, the surrounding precinct has received a major upgrade. Visitors can enjoy new pedestrian pathways, shelters, bike racks, seating areas, additional parking, modern amenities, the new Deepwater Park Playspace, and generous green spaces, making it easy to turn a quick ride into a full day out.
Conveniently located near the M5 turnoff, existing cycling routes, Kelso Sports Fields and the newly built Deepwater Park Playspace, it's perfectly positioned for families and cycling enthusiasts across Sydney.
Funded in part by a $500,000 contribution from the NSW Government's Places to Play program, Deepwater Pump Track reflects a commitment to creating adventurous, inclusive community spaces. Designed and constructed by Dirtz, the track incorporates a range of jump styles, including tabletops, step-ups and doubles, allowing riders to progress at their own pace as they build confidence and skill.
Safe, accessible and undeniably fun, the Deepwater Pump Track is a dynamic new hub for outdoor adventures. So whether you're a BMX enthusiast or a mini rider finding your balance, this record-breaking attraction promises thrills, progression and plenty of high-energy fun.
