The New Burwood Park Inclusive Playground Opens in Sydney
This colourful playground has been thoughtfully designed by Growth Civil Landscapes Pty Ltd so kids of all abilities can join in the fun, with smooth, accessible pathways, gentle ramps and sensory play features that invite everyone to explore together.
Little ones will be drawn to the engaging play equipment that encourages climbing, sliding and balancing, while quieter corners offer imaginative sensory elements and tactile panels that spark curiosity. There's plenty of space for parents to relax and catch up with other families, too, making it a real community hub where children can build confidence and friendships.
Features of the New Burwood Park Inclusive Playground
Children of all ages and abilities are invited to play in the new playground, which features a wide range of new equipment and features, including a modern play area featuring a tower slide, swings, a tandem flying fox and an all-abilities carousel, along with softfall surfaces and shaded spots for safer, more comfortable play. There's also a giant outdoor chessboard with its own custom shelter that doubles as a performance space, plus individual chess tables for casual games.
Families can make a day of it with accessible BBQs, picnic shelters and group tables, while a 24/7 accessible double Exeloo toilet makes visits easy and stress-free.
An off-leash dog park welcomes four-legged friends, with smooth, accessible pathways connecting the park's seating, bins, water fountain, lush landscaping, and clear wayfinding signage. Accessible parking spaces nearby round out this well-thought-out community space.
With its bright, welcoming design and inclusive spirit, the Burwood Park Inclusive Playground is a joyful destination that celebrates fun for every child.
