Youth Ball and Vogue Workshop

Get ready for an electrifying workshop designed for queer youth during Pride week! Hosted by Inner West Council and brought to you by the Kiki House of Silky, this event features international icons and legends from the House of West, ready to take you on a deep dive into the origins of vogue and ballroom.

Discover your essence and explore the foundations and elements of this art in a fun and safe environment. The workshops will be led by top Australian queer designers and will give you the chance to express yourself on the ballroom floor with your new moves and effects.

A Breakdown Of The Youth Ball and Vogue Workshops

3:30 pm: Introduction to Vogue and Ballroom hosted by Xander Silky and Rocky Silky (30 min duration)

4:00 pm: Vogue Femme Workshop hosted by Legendary Buffy and Akashi (1 hr duration)

5:00 pm: Runway Workshop hosted by Legendary Asia and Jack Silky (1 hr duration)

6:00 pm: Effects Workshop hosted by Blu Silky and designers Nicol and Ford (1 hr duration)

7:30 pm: Mini Ball – Virgin Vogue, Best Dressed, Runway hosted by Legendary Asia West, judged by Legendary Buffy and Akashi

Note: This is strictly a youth event for ages 12 to 18.
