Kids Story Day: Inspiring Literary Workshops and Activities
An exhilarating day of literary adventures awaits at this year's Kid’s Story Day. Designed to captivate and inspire young minds aged 7 to 12, the event offers a diverse range of activities, including interactive workshops that explore the art of illustrating words, crafting thrilling tales and even planning pranks!
Across four engaging sessions, a line-up of talented writers will immerse young participants in the enchanting realm of storytelling and encourage budding authors in their own creative journey. Plus, there's an exciting opportunity for the kids to step into the spotlight themselves during an awesome Kid Slam event.
Guest authors for Kid's Day include the comedic genius and the creative force behind the Hy-Larious Hyena! book series, Nazeem Hussain, and acclaimed author and poet, Solli Raphael, who achieved the remarkable feat of winning the 2017 Australian Poetry Slam at the tender age of 12.
Kid’s Story Day Workshop Program
Kid's Story Day is a Service NSW Creative Kids-approved activity, ensuring accessibility for all young literary enthusiasts.
Drop in for individual sessions or stay for the whole day, but don't miss this unique event bursting with imagination and inspiration for kids these school holidays!

When: Friday 6 October 2023 | 9:15 am – 3:30 pm
Cost: $50 for the day or $15 for each session | Parent/guardian attends FREE
