Ultimate Depth: A Journey to the Bottom of the Sea
Ultimate Depth at the Australian National Maritime Museum is taking families on a deep-sea adventure without the need for wetsuits, submarines or anyone saying "are we there yet?"
Ultimate Depth: A New Exhibition at the Sea Museum
This immersive temporary exhibition dives from the ocean's bright, sunlit surface all the way down to the deepest, darkest parts of the sea, exploring five incredible ocean zones and the weird, wonderful creatures that call them home.
Kids can make their own deep-sea creature and release it into the Midnight Zone, learn how ocean life survives under crushing pressure, and come face-to-face with James Cameron's famous DEEPSEA CHALLENGER submersible, which travelled to the Mariana Trench in 2012.
Expect big science, strange sea creatures, hands-on fun and just enough "what on earth is THAT?" moments to keep curious kids hooked.
