This winter, The Vineyard is turning up the magic with Lightfields - an illuminating new walk-through lantern experience at night - plus free kids' activities every weekday during the school holidays.

Lightfields is an immersive new experience for families at The Vineyard, where 70 larger-than-life installations are aglow after dark. Wander past dazzling lanterns, including illuminated characters, farmyard animals, a sunflower tunnel, the legendary 6-metre King Cockatoo, a Petal Throne and plenty of surprises along the trail.

Plus, there's a Silent Disco, a Lightfields Arcade and the cosy Bromic Warm Zone.

Winter School Holidays at The Vineyard

Alongside Lightfields, The Vineyard is hosting a range of winter school holiday activities for kids.

Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 12–2 pm during the school holidays, The Vineyard is serving up a jam-packed calendar of free kids’ entertainment that'll have your little ones giggling, dancing and cheering their way through the holidays. With live shows and hands-on activities, there’s something different to keep the kids buzzing every day.

• Tuesday 7 July – Young Scientists Slime and Ball Making
• Thursday 9 July – Reptiles Up Close
• Saturday 11 July  – K-Pop Demon Hunters Dance Party

• Thursday 16 July – Pony Rides & Petting Zoo
• Saturday 18 July – JD’s Strolling Magic & Balloon Making

While the little ones are busy being entertained, parents can kick back with something delicious from the bar or bistro and soak up the relaxed spring vibes.
