Spring nights in Sydney are set to be a whole lot brighter! Taronga After Dark is a fresh, fun-filled family experience coming to Taronga Zoo this October.

When the sun sets, the zoo will transform into a glowing playground packed with activities so you can explore Taronga in a whole new light!

Taronga After Dark: Sydney’s Wildest New After-Hours Event

Taronga After Dark invites you to wander through enchanting lantern-lit trails and discover what the animals get up to once night falls. Snap a selfie with a shimmering mermaid at the Mermaid Show, get adorned with glow-in-the-dark face painting, and watch the seals bask in the golden hour at the Sunset Seals for the Wild presentation.

There’s plenty to keep the kids entertained, from the vibrant Fluro Playground to the Wildlife Cinema screening nature stories that will have them mesmerised. For those craving a bit of thrill, the illuminated Wild Ropes Adventure course offers a dazzling nighttime climb with panoramic views of Sydney Harbour.

When you're ready to refuel and soak up the atmosphere, enjoy tasty street food and sweet treats around the firepit or unwind with a cocktail at the Archie Rose Sunset Bar overlooking the African Savannah exhibit.
