Sydney Youth Orchestra Winter School Holiday Programs

Across five fun-filled days, students will rehearse, learn, and perform under the guidance of expert educators. The week culminates in a concert at the prestigious Sydney Conservatorium of Music. No audition is needed—just a love of music and a willingness to dive in!

Whether your child is just starting out or aiming for their HSC, SYO’s winter offerings have something for everyone:

• SYO Winter School (Ages 6–18): Five-day program of music, fun and performance.

• Winter Symphony Orchestra (Ages 14–18): A professional orchestral experience for advanced players.

• HSC Winter School: Tailored support for Years 10–12 preparing for Music 2 and Extension.

• Discover Music (Ages 5–9): A joyful intro to orchestral instruments for curious beginners.

Students will be placed in ensembles matched to their experience level and receive guidance from passionate conductors and tutors. Plus, book multiple programs and save.
