SYO Winter School: An Inspiring Program for Young Musicians With Sydney Youth Orchestras

The SYO Winter School 2026 offers fun music education for kids, bringing together some of Australia’s brightest young musicians for an intensive, inspiring week of workshops, collaboration and creativity.

From budding beginners to advanced players, every student will find their place in this exceptional program designed to support their journeys to musical excellence! Participants will learn from expert tutors and conductors, make new friends, and experience the joy of performing in a real orchestral setting.

The SYO Winter School welcomes primary and high school students who play orchestral instruments. With a range of tailored streams, students are grouped by age and ability so everyone gets the most out of their musical journey.
