Parramatta Foundation Day

Discover Parramatta’s rich cultural history at Parramatta Foundation Day 2023, Sunday 12 November. This FREE event is filled with family activities, tours, workshops, live music, great food, and horse and carriage rides!

This event takes place at the North Parramatta Heritage Core, site of the Female Factory and Parramatta Girls Home, so you can learn something new about the past as you explore the buildings and workshops. There will also be tours offsite at Mays Hill Cemetery, St John’s Cemetery, Hambledon Cottage (Harris Park), and Brislington Medical & Nursing Museum Tours (Parramatta CBD).

• Female Factory Friends and other guided tours
• Horse and Carriage Rides
• Blacksmith demonstrations
• Vintage cars and tanks
• Family friendly activities and yard games

• Various City of Parramatta Heritage Tours including offsite locations
• Workshops
