Whether you're a dance enthusiast, an aspiring artist, or just looking for a delightful day out with the kids, these sessions have something for everyone.

As part of the celebrations for the Sydney Opera House's 50th anniversary, showcased in The People’s House: Sydney Opera House at 50 exhibition, the program will deliver artists, musicians, performers and creatives influenced by the iconic masterpiece.

Explore the stunning exhibition on a family scavenger hunt and engage in FREE and ticketed events including fascinating talks, inspiring activities, and engaging workshops.

Let's Dance with Sydney Dance Company

Let's Dance with Sydney Dance Company is a series of free energising dance classes featuring styles like Jazz on 14 January, Hip Hop on 11 February and Vogueing on 3 March. Open to all ages and abilities, these workshops promise a fun and invigorating experience on the Museum of Sydney forecourt for the entire family.

Sketching Sessions with Todd Fuller

Engage in the art of sketching with Sketching Sessions with Todd Fuller. Capture the essence of ballet dancers, musicians, and the iconic Sydney Opera House in these life-drawing lessons. Scheduled on 14 January, 11 February, and 3 March, these sessions are perfect for aspiring artists.

Musical Workshop with Junkyard Beats

The Musical Garden Workshop with Junkyard Beats on 11 February offers a hands-on experience creating music from recycled materials. This innovative workshop is an excellent way for families to learn about sustainability while enjoying a symphony of sounds.

Crafting with Jeff McCann

Get creative in the Paper Crowns with Jeff McCann workshop. Inspired by the Sydney Opera House's costumes, this activity on 14 January lets you design your unique paper crowns, blending art and fashion in a fun way.

Enjoy additional free activations around the museum, including interactive spaces where light and sound respond to body movements, and unwind to DJ La Foxy Fuzz's tunes at This Way Canteen.
