Mrs Doubtfire The Musical is heading to Sydney's Capitol Theatre from March 2027, bringing the much-loved movie to the stage with a big heart and plenty of chaos along the way.

What's The Musical About?

Out-of-work actor Daniel Hillard is devastated when a divorce leaves him separated from his children, so he comes up with a wildly ambitious plan: transform himself into Euphegenia Doubtfire, a Scottish nanny with a sensible cardigan, a sharp tongue and an unexpectedly convincing backstory.

As Daniel tries to keep the disguise alive, the story finds plenty of laughs in the near-misses and mishaps, while making room for the tender moments that made the film such a family favourite. Expect familiar scenes, original songs and a very memorable nanny.

Mrs Doubtfire The Musical runs for approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, including an interval, and is recommended for ages 6 and over. Children under 16 must attend with an adult and sit alongside them.
