Immerse yourself in the enchanting atmosphere created by turning off over 30,000 lights. Experience the thrill of riding rollercoasters under the starry sky and admire the stunning harbour lights from the darkness of the Park. Luna Park in the Dark offers a unique adventure that will leave you spellbound.

Be part of the magical 6 pm power-down ceremony, where one lucky guest will have the honour of flicking the switch, transforming Luna Park into a whole new world. Enjoy hair-raising rides like Hair Raiser, take flight through the night sky on Volare, or spin 360 degrees on Sledgehammer while taking in the breathtaking views of Sydney Harbour against the contrast of Luna Park in the Dark!

A Luna Park in the Dark ticket will also include entry to the Sonic Neon, Luna Park Sydney’s newest sound and light immersive experience. Set to an iconic 90s soundtrack, the attraction illuminates 150m of the historic Crystal Palace with over 26,000 lights. Visitors will have access to the Blacklight Dessert Bar where they can indulge in delicious sweet treats that glow in the dark. 

To top it off, a cast of carnival characters will be ready to entertain visitors as they adventure through the darkness, Sydney’s Immersive Big Top will house classical Candlelight concerts. 

Luna Park is open until 10 pm during this special event, allowing you to make the most of your ticket. Luna Park in the Dark is available for a limited time, only on specific weekends, including the long weekend. Don't miss this chance to experience Luna Park like never before!
