Light Up Windsor Street Fair 2026

Christmas is taking over the streets of Windsor! Light Up Windsor 2026 is making its grand return on Saturday 28 November, bringing one of Western Sydney's biggest free Christmas celebrations back to the Hawkesbury.

This year, the much-loved Christmas street fair is spreading its festive cheer even further, with an expanded event stretching from Windsor Mall along George Street to the Deerubbin Centre. There'll be more than 50 Christmas market stalls, a snowy play zone, live entertainment, visits from Santa and Mrs Claus, and a spectacular Christmas tree lighting to finish the night.

What's Happening at Light Up Windsor 2026?

Christmas Markets and Street Food

George Street will be transformed into a bustling Christmas marketplace, with more than 50 stalls offering gifts, decorations and festive finds. The expanded market area means more room to browse, while food stalls and local restaurants will keep everyone well fed throughout the evening.

Free Kids' Activities and Snow Zone

Windsor Mall is where the little ones will want to spend their time! The dedicated Family Fun Zone will feature free Christmas craft activities, face painting, festive light installations and the popular snow zone. Kids can also get involved in the Reindeer Passport activity, following festive stops around the event.

Meet Santa, Mrs Claus and Real Reindeer!

Santa and Mrs Claus will greet visitors at the rotunda in Windsor Mall, while real reindeer will make a special appearance at the Deerubbin Centre.

Families can also book a reindeer meet-and-greet experience, with proceeds supporting the 2026 Mayoral Christmas Appeal.

Live Entertainment and Christmas Tree Lighting

The main stage at Fitzgerald Street will be packed with performances throughout the evening, alongside roving entertainers spreading Christmas cheer through the streets.

The big moment arrives at 9 pm, when Windsor's giant Christmas tree is officially illuminated in Windsor Mall, bringing the celebrations to a sparkling close.

Cost:    FREE entry and free family activities. Food, market purchases and selected experiences cost extra.

Bookings: No bookings required for general entry. Bookings are available for the special reindeer meet-and-greet experience.

Extra info: Parking is available at McQuade Park, with accessible parking at Kable Street Car Park. A free shuttle bus will operate between Windsor Train Station, McQuade Park and the Deerubbin Centre. Pets are welcome on leads.
