Kaleidoscope: An Immersive Art Experience at Powerhouse Ultimo

Sydney is set to welcome a seriously trippy, larger-than-life interactive mirror maze called Kaleidoscope. This magnificent spectacle, complete with mirrors, lights, colours, and sounds, offers an immersive, multi-sensory experience that's not to be missed!

From the creative mind of Melbourne-based artist Keith Courtney, Kaleidoscope is set to be a mesmerising attraction at Powerhouse Ultimo. With successful runs in Melbourne's Rising Festival, Brisbane, Bendigo, Bathurst and more, the stunning artwork is heading to Sydney for a limited season only.
 

Immerse yourself in this luminous labyrinth and traverse vibrant corridors, which change from day to night, offering distinct visual treats. By day, Kaleidoscope presents a radiant playground of wonder, and by night, it transforms into a neon-lit field of light under the night sky.

Inspired by the classic kaleidoscope toy, this interactive installation features mirrors, luminous glass, and translucent beads of colour. As light shifts and the structure rotates, visitors are enveloped in a dazzling interplay of light and colour. To complete the enchanting experience, a beautiful soundscape, composed by violinist and producer Tamil Rogeon featuring the National Boys Choir of Australia, accompanies the visual spectacle.
