A New Izakaya Is Now Open In Sydney
Itō, an exciting new Japanese Izakaya, has emerged on Crown Street with a stylish, two-level dining space that boasts luxe interiors, pops of bold colour, seating for 85 guests and alfresco dining in the nick of time for spring-summer sunshine.
With a long-held passion for Japanese food, Head Chef, Erik Ortolani, has reimagined the Izakaya with distinctive dishes that explore the art of Japanese flavours and techniques, while showcasing fresh seasonal produce. They have curated a list of Japanese-inspired classic cocktails, wines from Japan, Italy and Australia, and an extensive collection of sake.
Dotted across Japan, informal after-work Izakaya bars (it translates to ‘stay-drink-place’) are a haven for diners craving a warm, welcoming place to sip sake and snack on delicious sashimi in a comfortable, classy venue.
