Immerse your family in a colourful day out featuring themed gardens, a live butterfly aviary, adorable baby lambs, fascinating bee experiences, face painting, daisy chain making and more.
Springtime Fun for the Whole Family at Hunter Valley Gardens
Spring is bursting into colour at Hunter Valley Gardens - Australia's largest display garden - with gorgeous landscapes, exotic wildlife and plenty of springtime inspiration.
Wander through 10 themed gardens while enjoying a range of interactive and educational attractions, get up close with butterflies and baby lambs, discover the fascinating world of bees and enjoy fun family activities surrounded by the beauty of nature.
There’s plenty to discover as you explore the breathtaking seasonal Gardens, and kids can get creative with hands-on activities that turn a day among the flowers into a fun adventure.
Carnival rides will be operating throughout the school holidays from 10 am to 2 pm.
Green thumbs can get plenty of garden inspiration with displays, horticultural talks and hands-on bonsai workshops. The HVG nursery is also the spot to find a selection of garden-ready plants and flowers to take home and add a little Hunter Valley Gardens magic to your own backyard.
Pack a picnic rug and settle in for a relaxing family day among the Gardens. You can pre-purchase a hamper from the Garden Terrace Café online when booking your tickets and find the perfect spot to enjoy a bite to eat while soaking up the beauty of spring at Hunter Valley Gardens.
