ZOOKEEPER FOR A DAY:

Do you know a little animal lover who dreams of being a zookeeper one day? Bring them along to Featherdale Wildlife Park’s Zookeeper for a Day Programme this school holidays to make their dreams come true!

Your little keepers will start their day by meeting the Featherdale team at the designated meeting point at 8:45 am. From here they will be accompanied by Featherdale's keepers and education officer for a range of activities around the park, making friends with a variety of animals, learning about their specific diets, participating in enrichment programs to learn to engage with the animals and most importantly, they will learn about the important projects Featherdale is involved with across a variety of key species.

Mogo Wildlife Park is home to some adorable young animals – Phoenix the Lion Cub, Twiga the Giraffe Calf and Poppy the Zebra foal and more. The park boasts the largest collection of primates in Australia from gorillas to pygmy marmousets, nine giraffes which visitors can hand feed, meerkats, prides of lions, tigers and more.
