Easter magic is hopping into Hunter Valley Gardens, and families are invited to join a long weekend packed with colour, chocolate and cheerful surprises. With the Easter Bunny on the loose, a fun-filled egg hunt to conquer, and exciting rides to enjoy, it's the kind of day out that keeps kids smiling from start to finish.

With chocolate rewards, cheerful encounters, and plenty of Easter fun woven through the beautiful gardens, Easter Weekend at Hunter Valley Gardens promises a joyful day out for the whole family.

So, what's on the agenda this year?

Hoppity Hollow Hunt

At the heart of the celebration is the Hoppity Hollow Hunt, a playful Easter adventure where little explorers follow the trail to search for numbered eggs. Once they've found eggs marked 1, 2 and 3, they can head to the end of the path to claim a well-earned Easter chocolate!

Hunt tickets are just $2 per child (or $2 as an add-on to Mega Creatures Day session tickets), and children with pre-purchased tickets can join the hunt between 9.30 am and 3 pm across the Easter long weekend.

Easter Bunny Visits

Adding to the excitement, the Easter Bunny will be making special guest appearances outside Hoppity Hollow in the event area — perfect for photos, waves and a little extra Easter magic.

Thrilling Rides

For families chasing more adventure, Hunter Valley Gardens' thrilling rides will be running daily during Mega Creatures from 10 am to 3.30 pm (last ride at 3.15 pm). Ride tickets are $6 each, or families can grab a value 6-ride pass for $30. It's a great way to add an extra spark of fun to the day (height and age restrictions apply).

Food & Drinks Onsite

Between the egg hunts and rides, families can refuel with a wide range of food and drink options available throughout the event — from tasty treats to satisfying bites that keep energy levels high for more exploring.
