Dinosaur World Live is Roaring Into Sydney These Summer Holidays

Got a dinosaur-obsessed kid at home? Clear a space in the summer school holiday calendar because Dinosaur World Live is stomping into Sydney, bringing enormous, incredibly lifelike dinosaurs to the stage at The Concourse in Chatswood.

The Olivier Award-winning interactive production lands in Sydney in January 2027, giving little palaeontologists the chance to come face-to-snout with some seriously impressive prehistoric creatures.

Meet the Dinosaurs of Dinosaur World Live

Grab your imaginary explorer hat and join intrepid adventurer Miranda as she journeys into a prehistoric world populated by dinosaurs that look startlingly real.

The stars of the show include the mighty Tyrannosaurus Rex, alongside Triceratops, towering Giraffatitan, Microraptor and the wonderfully strange Segnosaurus. The dinosaurs come to life through large-scale puppetry, with plenty of interaction to keep younger audience members firmly invested in the adventure.

Get Up Close With a Dinosaur After the Show

The prehistoric fun doesn't end when the curtain comes down.

Each performance is followed by a free 15-minute dinosaur meet-and-greet, where brave young explorers can head towards the stage and meet one of the show's giant residents up close.

The main show runs for approximately 55 minutes with no interval, making it a manageable theatre outing for younger kids. Dinosaur World Live is recommended for ages three and over, although all ages are welcome.
