Dinosaur Valley at Scenic World Blue Mountains

They're back and bigger than ever! See prehistoric creatures like never before at Scenic World's very own Dinosaur Valley.

What to Expect at Dinosaur Valley

Dinosaur Valley At Scenic World Blue Mountains
Get up close and personal with the Dinosaur Rangers.

This season of Dinosaur Valley brings over 60 dinosaurs across 32 species, including 7 new arrivals. The headline newcomer is Cryolophosaurus, the largest known predator ever found in Antarctica, whose name translates to "frozen crested lizard." Joining it is Kakuru, one of Australia's own dinosaur discoveries, named after the rainbow serpent from Aboriginal mythology because it was found in an opalised fossil.

Kids get a Dinosaur Valley Passport to guide them through the trail, tracking which dinosaurs belong to which corner of the ancient world. Dino Super Fan Andy Day, known from CBeebies, has recorded exclusive audio and video content scattered along the way, so the trail plays out more like a pop quiz than a walk past signage. Dinosaur Ranger meet-and-greets and baby dinosaur pats round out the hands-on side of things.
