City Of Sydney Pools Swim + Gym for Your School 2026: Win $5,000 Towards Programs

This winter, City of Sydney pools invite schools across the City of Sydney Local Government Area (LGA) to stay active and participate in a fun challenge that combines fitness and community spirit: Swim + Gym for Your School 2026. The exciting initiative aims to pump up physical activity among students, families, and staff.

It's super easy to join - just register your school and encourage your community to participate - and your school could win $5,000 in program credit. Make a splash for your school with City of Sydney pools!

City of Sydney Pools Swim + Gym for Your School 2026: $5,000 in Program Credit to be Won

Swim + Gym for Your School 2026 is a simple, six-week competition that rewards local schools and encourages healthy habits across the community - and your school could win a $5,000 program credit to boost your sport, swimming, or wellbeing initiatives.  

Schools must register their expression of interest by Thursday 23 July to be added to the leaderboard.

Then, between Thursday 23 July and Sunday 30 August 2026, the community can start supporting their chosen school. Visitors to any City of Sydney Leisure Centre can scan a QR code after their swim or gym session to nominate a participating school.

Each scan = points for that school. The more people who take part, the more points your school earns (points are adjusted for school size to keep it fair!).

Learn to Swim families also have the chance to go into a weekly draw to win one month of free swim lessons each time they scan and vote, and surprise bonus points and other rewards will be announced throughout the campaign.

The school with the highest score at the end of the competition takes home the $5,000 prize. It's a great way to foster school pride and community connection, as well as encourage healthy, active habits.
