Blacktown City Travelling Plant Giveaways

Honouring their commitment to ‘greening the City’, Blacktown City is hosting their popular annual Travelling Plant Giveaways this October. A whopping 2,500 plants will be available for FREE at the nominated locations to the first 1,250 local residents.

Residents are invited to attend their closest collection site and collect two plants per property from a selection of native and exotic species. Nursery staff will be onsite to assist in selecting plants that will be appropriate for their garden.

Blacktown City Travelling Plant Giveaway Program

• Participants must be an owner or occupier in the Blacktown City Council local government area.
• A limit of two plants per residential allotment applies. A maximum of two plants per person.
• You may only collect two plants for one property at the travelling and local government week giveaways. Residents must be present on the day to collect plants.
• This program is to be conducted strictly between the times designated or until all plants are given away.
• The plant entitlement from this event is additional to the Council’s Nursery Giveaway program. Residents can still collect their annual allocation of two free plants from Council’s Nursery.
