Blacktown City Festival 2025

This May, Blacktown is the place to be! The much-anticipated Blacktown City Festival is rolling out an epic lineup of events that you won't want to miss.

Thanks to the Blacktown City Council, the entire month is decked out with a mix of free and ticketed happenings showcasing everything from music and culture to sports and laughs.

Join the celebration as Blacktown City Festival marks its 50th anniversary with a month-long extravaganza of events, performances, and community spirit throughout May 2025. From medieval jousts to sweet indulgences, there's something for everyone.​

Festival Highlights

 

Vibes by the Lake
Relax to the sounds of R'n'B and reggae on 4 May at Nurragingy Reserve, featuring performances by Western Sydney's finest musicians.​

Blacktown Festival Comedy Night
Enjoy a night of laughter on 9 May at Blacktown Workers Club with a lineup of top comedians.​

Sweet Indulgence Dessert Festival
Satisfy your sweet tooth on 16 May at the Village Green with a delectable array of desserts, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities.​

Blacktown City Medieval Fayre
Step back in time at Nurragingy Reserve on 24–25 May. Witness knights in shining armour, jousting tournaments, medieval displays, and enjoy themed food and crafts.​

 

Family and Cultural Events
Don't miss the Dorothy the Dinosaur & Friends Show on 28 May, the Seniors Concert on 27 May, and the art exhibition "The Last Coconut Drifted" by Morgan Hogg at Leo Kelly Blacktown Arts Centre.​

Streets Alive and Parade Day
Conclude the festival on 31 May in Blacktown's CBD with a vibrant street parade, multicultural performances, market stalls, food trucks, and roving entertainers.​

With over 80,000 attendees expected, the Blacktown City Festival 2025 promises a memorable experience for all ages.
