ARTE MUSEUM is Bringing its Immersive Art Experience to Sydney

Sydney is getting a seriously spectacular new immersive art experience with the internationally acclaimed ARTE MUSEUM officially on its way.

Created by South Korean digital design company d'strict, ARTE MUSEUM has become known worldwide for transforming enormous spaces into dreamlike digital landscapes where art seems to move, bloom and crash around you. Now Sydney families will get their turn, with an ARTE MUSEUM Special Edition confirmed to open in early 2027.

Step Inside the Art at ARTE Museum Sydney

ARTE MUSEUM places visitors right in the middle of the artwork, using large-scale projections and immersive sound to create environments inspired by nature.

ARTE MUSEUM experiences overseas have featured everything from towering waterfalls and enormous rolling waves to forests, flowers and glowing night-time beaches. Its New York museum also layers fragrance into the experience, alongside specially created soundscapes, giving visitors plenty more to take in than what they can see.

The overarching theme behind ARTE MUSEUM is Eternal Nature, reimagining familiar elements of the natural world through digital technology.

What To Expect at ARTE MUSEUM Sydney

The Sydney experience will be a Special Edition, bringing together ARTE MUSEUM's signature works in one 45-minute journey.

Exactly which installations will make the trip to Australia hasn't been revealed, so we're holding out for more details before calling dibs on a favourite. Overseas ARTE MUSEUM locations have included the dramatic WAVE installation, interactive artworks and colourful spaces filled with flowers and fantastical landscapes.

For kids who prefer getting lost in an experience rather than standing still in a traditional gallery, this could be an exciting addition to Sydney's 2027 calendar.

When Does ARTE MUSEUM Sydney Open?

For now, we know ARTE MUSEUM Special Edition in Sydney is coming in early 2027, but an exact opening date hasn't been announced.

The Sydney venue and ticket prices are also still under wraps. ARTE MUSEUM has opened a waitlist for anyone keen to hear about opening dates, tickets and early access as soon as they're released.
