SisterWorks Spectacular Cultural Festival

This September, SisterWorks is holding the SisterWorks Spectacular—a cultural festival that's set to be a fun day out featuring entrepreneurial women from migrant, refugee, and asylum-seeker backgrounds. There will be a range of stalls and activities where you can browse, listen, watch, take part, and of course eat!

SisterWorks is a certified social enterprise that supports migrant, refugee, and asylum-seeker women to improve their confidence, mental well-being, sense of belonging, and economic outlook through work and entrepreneurship. Over the past 10 years, SisterWorks has supported over 2,000 women from 105 countries to build a better life in Australia through skills training and work opportunities.

Family Festival Fun

The festival promises to be a great day out for family and friends where you can experience vibrant cultural dance and musical performances, delicious food stalls, 40+ stalls offering handmade and ethical products, lovingly crafted right here in Melbourne, plenty of family and child-friendly activities, access to community organisations that also work with migrant, refugee and asylum seekers and a whole lot more.
