Get ready, Melbourne! The annual Run2Cure Neuroblastoma Fun Run is sprinting back in a new location at Albert Park on Sunday 10 November 2024 and it's your chance to don those running shoes for a cause that hits close to home. Hosted by the tireless folks at Neuroblastoma Australia, this isn't just any run in the park.
Run2Cure Melbourne: Support a Worthy Cause
For over a decade, this stellar event has been a beacon of hope, rallying Aussies to pound the pavement and raise money for neuroblastoma research. With survival rates teetering at 50%, every step, jog, or sprint at Run2Cure is a stride towards a future where childhood cancer is no longer a threat.
Whether you're a seasoned marathoner ready or a casual jogger Run2Cure has a spot for you. Choose from a timed 10km, 5km or 3km events around a course that follows a scenic loop around the lovely Albert Park Lake. And for the families? There's an untimed 1km Little Heroes fun walk where the kiddos (and parents!) can unleash their inner superhero.
Beyond the finish line enjoy a nice morning out with fun family-friendly activities and food carts at the event village including children's roving entertainment and live music.
Run2Cure Neuroblastoma is organised by the registered charity Neuroblastoma Australia. Its flagship event has been held at The Domain Sydney for the past 8 years. This event is the charity’s largest fundraising event for research into the aggressive childhood cancer neuroblastoma.
