A magical winter escape is landing on our sandy shores, and it's just in time for the school holidays. Riviera Winter Wonderland is bringing snowy fun to Melbourne’s Bayside!

Running daily throughout the season, Riviera Beach Club will be transformed into a frosty dreamland bursting with family activities.

Riviera Winter Wonderland: Ice Skating, Igloos & Icy Magic By the Bay

Riviera Winter Wonderland is the all-new immersive winter experience that’s taking over the iconic Riviera Beach Club in Elwood until 3 August 2025. And trust us, this is one winter event your family won’t want to miss.

Kids and families can experience the thrill of skating on a specially-built ice-skating rink, just metres from Port Phillip Bay. Skate aids are on hand for little learners, and they'll love the snow blizzards.  

There is fun-packed entertainment happening daily throughout the holidays, including cosy private igloos and a Winter Market Area with classic carnival treats like snow cones, fairy floss, popcorn, and face painting.

Parents, treat yourself to a warming mulled wine or seasonal cocktail, and browse the vintage market stalls. It's got all the charm of a European alpine village... minus the airfare.

Daytime Fun for Families, Night-time Vibes for Grown-ups

Once the sun goes down, the grown-ups get their turn to embrace the icy magic. After-dark sessions include DJ sets, disco skating under the stars, and private igloos serving up premium catering for groups of 2–6. It’s the perfect parents’ night out with a wintry twist.

When it’s time to warm up and wind down, head over to The Pavilion Restaurant and Bar, Riviera’s waterfront dining destination with sweeping bay views and front-row seats to the winter fun. Their seasonal menu and exceptional food will keep the whole family fed and happy.
