Set on 10 acres of gardens and bushland, the farm stay surroundings offer ample space for the kids to immerse themselves in nature and outdoor play, with swimming, canoeing, hiking, a playground, and resident animals to feed and pet. The lodge is also pet-friendly, so you can bring your own four-legged friend.

You can book out the whole property for a big family gathering of up to 20 people, so you can curl up by the fire and make yourselves feel right at home.

Barcoos Farmstays Bathurst is a genuine working farm with merino sheep, breeding cows, working dogs, horses and ponies, alpacas to hand feed, a donkey with manners, a pig that does tricks for treats, chickens, ducks, and often poddy lambs. In winter, they have a slow-combustion wood heater in the Farmhouse and an outdoor campfire area.

There are loads of hands-on interactive family fun that kids will love, including farm activities, pony rides and a Clydesdale-horse-pulled sledge. Barcoos Barn has self-contained units and a Farmhouse, plus caravan and camping facilities.
